Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026. BookMyCare (bookmycare.ca) is operated from Ontario, Canada, and follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store what is on the form: your name, email address, city or area, and whether you are looking for care or offering it, plus the date and time. If you suggest a feature, we store the suggestion, your email and, if you give it, your phone number.

We also note which link brought you here (for example a WhatsApp share or an Instagram post) and the page you landed on, so we know which of our efforts are working. This is kept for the visit in your browser’s session storage, not in a cookie, and is saved only if you submit a form.

To understand how the page is used, we count anonymous actions such as a button tapped, a video played or a form opened. These counts carry no name, email, address or device identifier.

How we use it

• To send you one confirmation email now, and one email when we launch.
• To invite founding families and caregivers to share feedback, if you choose to.
• To understand which areas of the GTA have the most interest.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

Your details are stored with Supabase in a Canadian data centre. Confirmation emails are sent through Postmark. Our website is hosted by Vercel. Each of these providers handles your data only to provide their service to us.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) that count page views without identifying you. The only thing we save in your browser is your choice to dismiss the privacy notice and, if you set one, your light or dark theme preference.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@bookmycare.ca. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
